Invisible character

Copy a blank character for an empty name, message or bio line, in games and apps. And check any text for hidden characters that break searches, code and forms.

  • U+3164
    Hangul filler Looks like a space but counts as a letter. The one most games and apps accept for a blank name.
  • U+2800
    Braille blank A blank Braille cell. Shows as an empty space on almost every device.
  • U+200B
    Zero-width space Takes no space at all. Lets long words or links break across lines.
  • U+00A0
    No-break space A normal-width space that keeps two words on the same line.
  • U+2003
    Em space A wide space, as wide as the letter M. For indents where spaces collapse.

    How to use it

    1. Press Copy next to the blank character you need. Hangul filler is the one most apps accept as a name.
    2. Paste it where you want the blank. To copy several, set How many first.
    3. To check text for hidden characters, paste it in the lower box and copy the cleaned version.

    Why a normal space does not work

    Most apps trim spaces from the start and end of a name or a message, and refuse one that is only spaces. Characters like the Hangul filler (U+3164) and the Braille blank (U+2800) look empty but count as real characters, so they get through. That is how people set a blank name in games and on WhatsApp, Discord or Instagram, or send an empty-looking message.

    Some apps have caught on and block them too. If one does not work, try another from the list.

    Invisible names in Free Fire, BGMI and other games

    Players use the Hangul filler ㅤ to make a name look blank, or to put wide gaps between letters. Copy it above, open the name change box and paste it in place of the name or between letters. Games decide what they accept and change it from time to time: if a fully blank name is refused, paste the filler between visible letters, or try the Braille blank instead. Changing a name may cost in-game currency, so test it first where you can.

    Hidden characters that cause trouble

    Text copied from web pages, PDFs, chat apps and AI tools can carry characters you cannot see: zero-width spaces, joiners, non-breaking spaces, direction marks and byte-order marks. They make two identical-looking words not match, break formulas in Excel, fail password and code checks, and make form fields say an address is invalid.

    Paste the text into the finder above. It lists each hidden character by name and code, and gives back a copy with them removed, with special spaces turned into normal ones. For a full clean-up, including fonts and curly quotes, use remove formatting.
