### What counts

Any real, repeatable problem in an official ClipTen release, for example:

- Something that doesn’t work. A save that doesn’t save, a paste that pastes the wrong thing or nothing, a setting that doesn’t stick.

- A technical problem. A crash, a freeze, the app not starting, high CPU or memory use, trouble after an update or a restart.

- Lost or wrong data. A slot that empties itself or holds something you didn’t put there.

- Privacy or security. Anything that would let a copy leave your computer or be read by someone else.

- Install and license problems. The installer, sign-in, or a license that won’t unlock.

- Anything else that’s clearly wrong. Broken layout, confusing or wrong wording, a shortcut that clashes with a common app.

### How to report

- Report from the app: open ClipTen, go to Settings → Report a bug. The Report a bug (https://clipten.com/support#bug-reward) button on our support page opens that screen for you.

- Press Send and the report comes straight to us, with the app version and system details we need. It never includes anything you copied.

- Say what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Steps we can follow help most.

### The terms

- Reports must come from the app. Bugs emailed any other way are still welcome and we’ll still help, but they don’t qualify for the reward.

- It must be new to us. The first report of a bug qualifies. Duplicates and problems we already list as known don’t.

- We must be able to reproduce it on a supported system: Windows 10 or 11, running an unmodified official release.

- Not a bug: feature requests, how the operating system itself behaves (for example, Windows blocking pastes into apps run as administrator), problems caused by other software, and reports without enough detail to follow.

- One reward per person. One Lifetime license per person and email address, however many bugs you find. It can’t be transferred, sold or exchanged for money.

- How you receive it. We reply to the address the report came from. If you report before Lifetime is on sale, we send your license when it opens.

- Keep security issues private until we’ve released a fix. Please don’t test on other people’s computers or data.

- Our decision is final on whether a report qualifies. We may change or end this program at any time. Reports sent before a change still follow the terms that applied when you sent them.
