The app
ClipTen is a clipboard manager. What people copy is some of the most private data on a computer: passwords, messages, addresses, work documents. So ClipTen is built so that none of it can leave your Mac or PC.
- ClipTen never sends anything you copy anywhere. Not to us, not to anyone.
- The app has no networking code. It does not send analytics or crash reports.
- When a password manager marks a copy as secret, ClipTen does not save it.

To erase your slots at any time, open ClipTen and choose Clear All Slots.
What the app never sends us

On a Mac, ClipTen asks for Accessibility permission. It uses it only to notice the ClipTen shortcuts (holding ⌘ with C or V and a number) and to paste. On Windows, ClipTen registers only its own shortcuts and installs no keyboard hook.
Your account, signing in and buying
ClipTen uses an account to start your free trial and to keep your licence. The account is your email address. For it, we store your email, a one-way code for each computer you sign in on (so each computer gets one free trial), and your plan and licence. It never holds anything you copy.
When you press Buy or Sign in with browser in the app, ClipTen asks your computer to open that page in your own web browser. The app itself sends nothing. The address includes a short code made from your computer: a one-way hash, not your computer’s name or any serial number. The website uses it to issue a sign-in code or licence for that computer. It comes back to ClipTen by a link or a code you paste, and ClipTen checks it on your computer.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. The provider receives what it needs to take the payment, such as your email address, country and payment details, under its own privacy policy.
This website
- The site has no analytics or advertising scripts.
- If you join the download list, we store your email address and which computer you use (Mac or Windows) with our email provider, Resend, so we can send you the download link. We send you nothing else unless you ask. To be removed, email support@clipten.com and we will delete it.
- The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like any web host, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep them secure.
Reports and emails you send
Report a bug in the app builds a report you can read in full first. It includes the app version, system version, plan and recent events, but never clipboard content. ClipTen does not send it: it opens in your own mail app, and you decide whether to send it. If you email us or send a report, we use it only to help you, fix bugs and send a bug reward.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
