How title case works here
Title Case capitalizes every word except short ones that style guides keep lower: a, an, and, as, at, but, by, for, in, of, on, or, the, to. The first word is always capitalized. If you want every word capitalized, pick Capitalized Case.
Changing case without this page
In Word, select text and press Shift+F3 to cycle through lower, UPPER and Capitalized. Google Docs has Format › Text › Capitalization. Excel uses the formulas =UPPER(), =LOWER() and =PROPER(). None of them do sentence case or the programming cases, which is where this tool helps.
